What size of tire tape do I need?
The Tubeless rim bottom you choose should match the size of the inner width of the wheel rim. You should be able to find this measure inside your tire or, alternatively, refer to the manufacturer's guide to your online bike. If that fails, it's time to find a reliable rule and measure it yourself.
If the width of your rim does not match exactly our sizes then simply choose the next size.
As a general guide:
- Road / Grava (17 and 21 mm)
- XC / Trail (25 mm)
- DH / Enduro (28 and 30 mm)
- DH / Wide enduro (35 mm)

How
- First, clean your rim with our glue remover and sealant to get rid of any unwanted residue that may have been left of an earlier configuration.
- Select the rim bottom of the correct size to match the width of your wheel tire (see our guide above)
- Locate the valve hole
- Remove some of your tire tape and start applying and press down on the opposite side of the valve hole
- With your thumb pressing the tape, slightly remove the tape and continue pressing down to make sure you have a firm bond with the edge.
- Turn the wheel while still applying the tape
- Once you have toured the entire edge, continue to create a overlap of about 10 to 15 cm.
- Cut the tape at an angle of 45 degrees and press the edge down
- Check if there are air bubbles and spaces, making sure you press firmly down if you detect any
- Apply the finish patch on the edge of the tape to secure a firm seal.
- Push the valve through the rim hole and secure it with the ring and the lock ring.
- Replace the tire and inflete: now you are ready to add your sealant!
