Flagship GTX collects and celebrates the successes of the latest collections offering the best of the past and original details, absolutely new for winter footwear. The result is a shoe with character, decided and intrepid to the most adverse atmospheric conditions:

The Duratherm Kelvin lining provides the best thermal insulation of the Gore-Tex® range, ensuring breathability and protection against weather agents.

Thanks to the characteristics of the neoprene, the Easyfit neck guarantees mobility and protection from the empeine to the ankle.

The "superposed" structure at the top distributes the closing pressure evenly and helps transfer each watt of power when pedaling.

The full carbon sole, with the novelty in the winter collection, of the Hyperlight XC, 100% unidirectional carbon with rigidity index 14.0 that combines stiffness and lightness.

Not one, but two dials. The closing SLW3, star product Northwave, is the only one with a gradual step-by-step release that allows millimetric adjustments during use, even with winter gloves.

X-Dial / SLW3
The new X-Dial SLW3 is completely unique and provides ultra-fast micrometric fixing. This compact mechanism is very light and intuitive, just turning the dial fast and accurate. The side button allows to loosen the closure gradually and the set to make micrometric adjustments while pedaling.

In 2005, Northwave was the first brand and manufacturer to use Gore-Tex® in Cycling Shoes. MICHELIN HYPERLIGHT XC
NORTHWAVE developed this sole next to MICHELIN TECHNICAL SOLES 100% unidirectional carbon fiber, is the result of biomechanical studies to locate materials only where really necessary for maximum efficiency, to be able to combine very low weight and extreme stiffness. The structures of the sole are manufactured with the innovative double-layered compound. Technology in softer and harder compounds to increase flexibility, stability and adherence: the first provides maximum flexibility, while the second is more resistant and powerful, to improve traction and resistance.
