MALTODEXTRINA:

• It is absorbed into the intestine by the SLGT-1 conveyor and becomes glucose to travel to the cells and provide them with energy quickly.
• It is high glucemic index, rapid blood glucose increase, instant energy release.
• Rapid gastric emptied by its high molecular weight and low osmolarity, favoring digestion and reducing gastrointestinal side effects.

FRUCTSA:

• It is absorbed in the intestine using GLUT5 carriers, different from those that absorb other carbohydrates, the absorbed fructose is directed from the intestine to the liver by GLUT2 carriers and fills the liver glycogen deposits that are lost during intense physical exercise.
• A gradual absorption occurs with constant and progressive energy release.

It is for this reason that the combination of both malthodextrine and fructose allows to digest and assimilate a high amount of carbohydrates per hour minimizing the risk of gastric problems.
