The 12-speed DEORE XT cassettes are presented with the MICRO SPLINE adjustment system and are available in 10-45T option for small gear jumps or 10-51T for a maximum range. Both cassettes have the HYPERGLIDE+ technology, which allows fast gear changes and a very quiet transmission. They also have an aluminum spider that accommodates ten steel crowns and two aluminum, for optimal weight and durability. The CS-M8100-12 10-51T cassette weighs 470 g and the 10-45T version weighs 461 g.
