- 2WAY - RELEASE
The RAPIDFIRE PLUS deviator handle is usually called a trigger, because it works like a gun, pressing the trigger. The handle of the new RAPIDFIRE PLUS deviators from the ALIVIO to XTR groups can be operated in the same way, but adds the possibility to activate a drive handle by pressing with the thumb.
- INSTANT RELEASE
The INSTANT RELEASE change replaces the change of click and release of two stages to which we are accustomed. With the change INSTANT RELEASE the cable is released as soon as the handle is triggered, so the gear change is made as quickly as possible. Whether it's an upward shift with a superior normal rear change or a downward shift with a lower normal rear change, a faster change is always a better change.
