The deck Maxxis Rekon is designed for those who want to mount larger wheels. Maxxis renovate with his new Rekon. This is an evolution of the classic Rekon model, adapted to a wider size to meet new demands. It is characterized by a more aggressive taqueado and profile, designed to roll in all types of terrain.
Features:
- Use: MTB
- Measure: 29x2.40 - WT (Wild Trail Construction): Optimizes the layout of the bearing band and the tyre profile in the modern and wider tires of today. The traditional tires are designed with older and narrow tires and can create a too square tire profile, which leads to less than optimal performance. The WT tires are optimized for a 35 mm inner rim width, but it has been proven to operate in a range of inner tire widths of 30-35 mm, depending on the pilot's preference
- EXO: An extremely resistant material to cuts and abrasion that is added to the side walls of the selected mountain tyres. This dense tissue is also light and very flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire is not affected. Ideal for exceptionally rocky and treacherous trails where the probability of cuts and abrasions on the flanks is high
- SkinWall: Version of the side walls of the thinst cover, designed to maximize its weight
- Tubeless Ready: Combines a carbon fiber cord for resistance, a cord cushion for safety and a rubber compatible with the liquid sealant for air retention, eliminating the need for an air chamber. The perforation protection layer helps prevent damage caused by road rubble. Liquid sealant can be used to prevent any air pressure loss
